Professor Youmei Feng serves as the Chancellor of Duke Kunshan University.
Prior to joining Duke Kunshan, Feng was the Executive Vice President of Wuhan University while concurrently the Dean of Wuhan University School of Medicine.
She was formerly a key member of the senior leadership team at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Tongji Medical University.
Feng has a wealth of experience in higher education and administration, especially in promoting reform in education and teaching and Sino-foreign cooperative education.
Since joining DKU as Chancellor in September 2018, she has focused on strengthening university culture cultivation, policies and regulations establishment, as well as capacity building.
The university features an innovative and international model for undergraduate education with selected cutting-edge research foci and graduate programs, focused on cultivating first-rate talent with strong senses of empathy and responsibility and excellent leadership skills oriented towards the future and the wider world.
