Ace Asim is an Ethics and Leadership major with a concentration in Public Policy. His multidisciplinary research explores the ethical, social, political, and cultural implications of AI in China, and he will continue this work at the Yenching Academy of Peking University in Fall 2025. Known for his versatility and initiative, Ace has been a defining presence in shaping campus life across the arts, law, and student leadership. He co-founded DKU Music Night with Professor Andrew Field and Jesse Campbell, now the university’s most consistent cross-cultural gathering for the arts, and starred as the male lead in its first fully staged musical. He also launched DKU’s first undergraduate law journal and serves as president of both the Pre-Law Society and Jazz Club, as well as vice president of the MediHealth Podcast. A multi-instrumentalist, singer, actor, and dancer, he hopes to inspire others to see creativity and intellect as interconnected, and to pursue a life that is well-rounded, and committed to excellence. He is deeply grateful to DKU, his family, and his friends for their continued support.
